Requirements for home to school transport. We are looking to fulfil routes to approximately 52 establishments, 22 in borough and 32 out of borough though this number may increase/decrease over-time. From time-to-time, Solihull may also have a requirement for transport to be provided to ‘looked after children’ and vulnerable adults to and from foster homes, day care centres etc. With the upcoming conclusion of our present framework agreement, Solihull is looking to re-tender via a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) process for our requirements for home to school transport for children. We are looking to fulfil routes to approximately 52 establishments, 22 in borough and 32 out of borough though this number may increase/decrease during the course of the agreement. Access to the DPS will be on a qualitative basis and the routes will be awarded on the basis of costs. For any new routes added, all successful tenderers will be invited to bid. Solihull may also have a requirement for transport to be provided to ‘looked after children’ and vulnerable adults to and from foster homes, day care centres etc., and this will form part of the scope of this agreement.
