Who Speclialist Work With We are a National Team providing technical services, advice and guidance to share our data and information in line with legislation. We support the business to deliver their outcomes, and provide Data Sharing Services to the Defra Group. What Specialists Work On The successful candidate will be expected to manage priorities in a diverse portfolio, centred on identifying and publishing Data Standards and core reference data sets, the development of a data model for integration of data, and coordination of the business case with a view to development of an Alpha Service. Where the Work Takes Place Bristol Early Market Engagement Working Arrangements The role is for 5 days a week, on-site 3 days a week. There is a fixed budget which will determine contract length. There is a limited budget for expenses. Work Location Bristol Security Clearance Additional T&Cs Skills & Experience Demonstrable experience of managing large, complex data projects, with a solid track record of leading complex data delivery Ability to manage and work with third party data service providers, external suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely provisioning and implementation of technical data solutions Experience of working with data service suppliers to contribute to and assure detailed technical design and commercial offerings Ability to cope in a technically complex data transformational environment, and to respond calmly and rationally to changing aspirations within constraints Strong planning and organising skills including the ability to manage several data work streams simultaneously Proven ability to communicate with key stakeholders at varying levels in both written and verbal communication, including the translation of technical communication to something understandable for a wider audience Demonstrable experience of successfully delivering data projects within an Agile/PRINCE 2 environment.
