Tender description

Brighton and Hove City Council have awarded to 1 Service Provider to remove and store the possessions of tenants and homeless persons. The contract is issued for 3 years — beginning 1.5.2017. There is a possible extension for 2 years. Tenants and homeless persons using these service maybe vulnerable and/or under going major life changes. The Service Provider is expected to have staff trained in handling vulnerable people in difficult situations. The Service Provider will not have to be based in Brighton. However, their storage facility for Tenancy Services must be. This is to avoid vulnerable tenants having to travel excessive distances to claim their belongings.
