Complex needs mental health service. Support provision that will enable individuals with severe and enduring complex mental health needs to develop the life skills required to maintain their independence within the community. This procurement is being carried out under the light-touch regime. The Council is seeking to tender for a building and support service and is seeking good quality buildings and innovative models of service delivery which take into account the specifics of the service being sought. Efficient and effective support provision that will enable individuals with severe and enduring complex mental health needs to develop the life skills required to maintain their independence within the community is also being sought. The key requirements of the specification include: — The provision of 2 distinct buildings from where high support and step down support services can be delivered. It is anticipated that the buildings will be able to provide in the region of 21 to 23 units of self-contained accommodation — Supporting people towards recovery and independence to enable them to develop the life skills to move on to less supported or step down accommodation. — The provision of a support service that is available 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
