Tender description
The impact of social isolation and loneliness has a detrimental effect on quality of life and life expectancy. Ignoring the impact of social isolation and loneliness will therefore ignore the potential for reducing the subsequent impact on service demand. A short intensive 10-15 day commission considering the risks of social isolation and loneliness in the over 65s, and to assess and discuss the health and care systems response to the issue is required.
