Restoration of Donohill Landfill Phase 2

Tender description

Tipperary County Council (TCC) has closed its landfill for non hazardous waste at Donohill and now proposes to commence the final restoration of the site. Some initial restoration work was carried out in 2015 including a review and improvement of the leachate and gas infrastructure, the remediation of the existing site road, the installation of a temporary synthetic cover on approximately 12,250m2 of uncapped waste and the review and design of the improvements of the Civic Amenity at the site. A Specified Engineering Works Report for the work at the Civic Amenity has already been submitted to the EPA and the documents for the Part 8 Planning Process are being prepared. Tenders are now invited from suitably qualified consultants for the Final Restoration of Donohill Landfill and the Renovation of Donohill Civic Amenity. Consultants duties will include the preparation of the detailed design of the works, acting as PSDS, preparing tender and contract documents for the appointment of a contractor, supervision of the work and compiling any reports as may be required (such as Specified Engineering Works Report, CQA Report etc), as well as meeting with the EPA if required and making any amendments to the design that the EPA may require.
