Tender description

We want to appoint contractors on a framework to help support our work with stakeholders. These framework contractors will help Environment Agency staff plan, facilitate and evaluate effective stakeholder engagement processes relevant to our work. At times we may want contractors to facilitate the engagement where the issue is of high public interest or a degree of independence is needed. The work will range from issues considered by the public to be contentious to national strategic decision making and involve internal staff and external organisations, groups or individuals. We have a high priority to improve the way we work collaboratively and in partnership with other organisations to manage Flood Risk Management partnership funding arrangements and the delivery of integrated river catchment planning. We also recognise the need to use digital and other social media more extensively to engage with stakeholders. Provision of specialist stakeholder engagement and facilitation. this could include working with communities on complex strategies and planning in areas of high public interest or where a degree of independence is needed.
