Tender description
Babcock DSG Limited acting as the UK Ministry of Defence's Agent, is considering awarding a Contract for the repair of multiple platform Line Replacement Units (LRU's) overseas in Canada and Kenya. Support in other global locations may be added during the life of the Contract. The proposed Direct Repair Scheme capabilities support the majority of Land Equipment LRU's across the Armoured (A) and Wheeled (B) vehicle fleets. LRUs span the full range of electro-mechanical systems. The requirement for Canada is predominantly A-vehicle fleets (Armoured Tracked Vehicles), whilst Kenya is predominantly B-vehicle (Soft Skin, Wheeled Vehicles). Suppliers interested in exploring this opportunity with the Authority (UK Ministry of Defence) are invited to express their interest in writing using the email address below; all interested suppliers will be invited to attend an ‘Industry Day’ in Donnington, Telford, which will be an opportunity for suppliers to gain an understanding of the Authority's requirement. Attendance will be limited to 2 representatives per company. There is no guarantee of any contract coming into being as a result of this Prior Information Notice. Suppliers must, in the first instance, express their interest via email to nicola.calvert@babcockinternational.com no later than 17.4.2017.
