Purification-plant repair and maintenance work

Tender description

The UK Ministry of Defence (MOD) proposes to place a single source contract with TPG Maritime Limited (formerly Atmosphere Control International) for the Maritime Equipment Transformation Programme (MET) Lot 18: Submarine Air Purification — Asset Availability (AAS) Contract. The contract shall cover but not be limited to the following equipment; Submarine Air Purification (Combined Oxygen Generation System; Low Pressure Electrolyser; Gas Management Plant; High Temperature Catalytic Burner; Carbon Dioxide Scrubbers; Non-Powered Oxygen Generation and Carbon Dioxide Removal Systems) Equipment. The Authority intends to award a single source contract to TPG Maritime Limited (formally Atmosphere Control International) in the form of an Asset Availability Service contract. The contract shall cover but not be limited to the following equipment; Submarine Air Purification (Combined Oxygen Generation System; Low Pressure Electrolyser; Gas Management Plant; High Temperature Catalytic Burner; Carbon Dioxide Scrubbers; Non-Powered Oxygen Generation and Carbon Dioxide Removal Systems) Equipment. The contract value and length are estimated at 27 780 000 GBP (ex VAT) for a duration of 7 years +3 option years.
