Tender description

NE own and manage Stodmarsh NNR which is wetland nature reserve with extensive areas of reedbed. A Softrack machine is currently in use on the reserve for cutting reeds and for the safe transport of other equipment. This machine is 15 years old and the repair bills are increasing each year. Purchase of a new, replacement machine will reduce our reliance on grant in aid by opening up opportunities for joint working and income generation with neighboring landowners and the EA. The budget for this purchase is derived from locally generated income. There may also be a small trade in value for the existing machine.
