This Invitation to Tender is issued by Borough of Poole. Provision of High Support and Training Accommodation for Young People aged 16-25 years. This tender opportunity is for to provide housing related accommodation schemes that offer a pathway for young adults to access high support and training accommodation schemes with a specific focus on 18 to 21 year old care leavers and although the Services are not primarily for the 16 to 17 age group as there are other suitable provisions for this age range, there may be occasions where a 16 or 17 year old has needs which would be well met within the accommodation offers. The High Support accommodation scheme will be for young adults with a range of medium to high support needs and/or behaviours that challenge, who are assessed as being vulnerable and in housing need under children and homelessness legislation; they are vulnerable because they have a significant difficulty accessing existing accommodation based services because of the level of support they require to meet their complex needs and/or behaviours that challenge. The Training Supported accommodation scheme will be for young adults with low intensity support needs, who are transitioning from High Support Accommodation or require time limited and low intensity support to assist the Service User in managing settled accommodation.
