Summary of the work Ministerial commitments: Sept 2017: - Delivered access to PHR online on NHS.UK and platform launched for the public - Pharmacies and GP Appointment booking clearly signposted for user friendly online booking March 2018: - Delivered 100 medicines (A to Z directory) - Delivered ability to view medical information/records via NHS.UK. Specialist role Programme manager Expected Contract Length 6 months (with the right to extend by the same period). Latest start date 2nd May 2017 Maximum Day Rate £1000 per day. Early Market Engagement None. Who Speclialist Work With The specialists will work with: - Domain A Director - NHS England SRO - Domain A Senior Management Team - The wider Domain A team - Other NHS Digital colleagues. What Specialists Work On Programme management for the NHS.UK Ministerial commitments for September 2017: - successful delivery of strategic targets - work with the domain Director and NHS England SRO to agree and maintain strategy, vision, milestones, roadmap to ensure NHS.UK programme meets strategic needs and priorities - lead on the development of the NHS.UK future operating model ensuring appropriate integration with NHS Digital and Domain wide work - drive business planning and prioritisation of programme delivery, ensuring directorate business cases, plans and priorities reflect the needs of the programme and addresses any external challenges and ensures that the programme delivers to its commitments. Skills & Experience • Extensive experience of Digital by Default (DfD) and the standards associated • Expert agile programme delivery skills • Well practiced ability to build sustainable capacity • Board/CEO/CIO/CDO experience in both the private and public sector • Experience and skills of transformation, transition and service management of delivering digital services • Experience in co-sourcing • Skills in blending in-house and third parties to deliver digital services • Strong stakeholder experience (especially in the health sector and digital sector) • Conflict management experience Work Location London (Victoria, Elephant and Castle and Whitehall). Working Arrangments The specialist will work with the wider Domain A team in the London office (Victoria). 1 day a week working from home is allowable. Security Clearance None. Additional T&Cs None. What is the IR35 status of this contract? The intermediaries legislation does not apply to this contract. 2. Is the rate inclusive or exclusive of VAT? The rate is inclusive of VAT. 3. We were unaware that we could only submit one profile - the deadline is the 10th, however, we qualified two candidates for this role. Does this role need any type of security clearance No. 7. Is occasional remote working allowed? Yes. 8. Can more than one candidate per supplier be submitted for this role. Yes, however the supplier must back a separate submission for each specialist they with to submit. 9. Is there any travel involved in this role Travel may be required. This would be primarily to Leeds. 10. When you say: 'The wider Domain A team - Other NHS Digital colleagues'. We would like to know if there is an interface (Direct or indirect) with the 'Product team' i.e. the Product manager , Business Analyst, Developers, Testers? Yes, the specialist will interface with these professions. 11. Will the travel expenses be paid if there is travel needed for this role? Travel expenses will not be paid.
