Tender description

The contract is for the design and construction of a new container park for repairing and storing empty containers for DP World London Gateway, Stanford-le-Hope, Essex. The container park will be approximately 5 acres in size and will include the following facilities: — Heavy duty pavement for storage of containers; — Roads connecting the facility with the existing roads; — Pretrip facility for refrigerated containers; — Facilities for washing and repair of containers; — Lighting; — Offices; — Mess; — Small repair workshops. The works are to be constructed and complete by the end of 2017.
