Coventry University and the Institute of Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering (AME) is in the process of enhancing its joining and fabrication research capability to undertake welding, brazing, hard-facing and Additive Manufacturing (AM) through using Laser heat sources identified as process 52 within ISO 4063. The accurate processing of parts using wire, powder or a mixture of the two filler material media requires a system to be suitably flexible in joining and manufacturing 3D parts to meet future concepts being researched at the University and AME. This tender opportunity serve as an invitation to tender for the supply of a Robotic Laser Welding Cell: which will be located within the Institute for Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering (AME), Coventry UK.
