Tender description

Newcastle University requires laundry services for a variety of items, e.g. accommodation / housekeeping, catering, and work wear, which can be a combination of owned and hired linen. The Contract is divided into three Lots: Lot 1 - Bedroom Linen and Bathroom Textiles Lot 2 - Table Linen and Kitchen Towels/Cloths Lot 3 - Work Wear Contractors may bid for one Lot or more than one Lot. Initially the Contract will be for Lot 1 Bedroom Linen and Bathroom Textiles, Lot 2 Table Linen and Kitchen Towels/Cloths, and owned chefs whites in Lot 3 Work Wear. Other areas have existing contractual arrangements for Lot 3 Work Wear but they will be advised to transfer to the Contract once those contracts have expired.
