Network Rail Managed Stations utility recoveries

Tender description

Network Rail wishes to undertake intensive surveys at each of its managed stations, to identify the areas occupied by Network Rail, Train Operating Companies and retail tenants. The successful bidder will establish the correct provision of metering within each discrete area as well as providing assessment of liability in shared areas in each station. They will then work with Network Rail teams to align and update billing systems to accurately reflect the on-site position, and will engage with tenants and third parties to obtain agreement to necessary changes. The stations in question are: Birmingham New Street Bristol Temple Meads Edinburgh Waverley Glasgow Central Leeds Liverpool Lime Street Manchester Piccadilly Reading London Cannon Street London Charing Cross London Euston London King’s Cross London Bridge London Liverpool Street London Paddington London St Pancras International London Victoria London Waterloo Network Rail will inform priority of stations prior to commencement of works. This contract will be let on a gain-share basis, and no payment will be made for products or services outside of the gain-share arrangement. Bidders are invited to submit their proposed gain-share proportion. A further phase of engagement may succeed this activity, to install automatic sub-metering to those areas assessed in Phase 1, although this work is not guaranteed at this stage. The successful bidder will be invited to provide potential solutions for the second phase however other bids may also be encouraged.
