Who Speclialist Work With The planner will work with a variety of Civil Servants, Military Personnel and contractors within New Style of IT (Base) . What Specialists Work On You will be expected to 'hit the ground running' to provide planning support across the DaaP Programme. You will be required to develop and improve existing project plans and third party plans using EPM 2013 to ensure consistency and coherency is provided. There will be a need to work with projects to produce deliverable plans which are fully resourced. You WILL be expected to provide monthly reports and MI to the PMO. Experience required of PBS/WBS, Critical Path Analysis, IMS & Dependency Management. Where the Work Takes Place The planner will be based in MoD Corsham, Westwells Road, Corsham, SN13 9NR Early Market Engagement Working Arrangements 5 days a week (37 hours per week) within a bandwidth of 08:00 - 18:00 (hours to be agreed with individual teams). All resources will be provided access to the organisation's IT system and no utilisation of personal or company laptops will be permitted. Work Location The planner will be based in MoD Corsham, Westwells Road, Corsham, SN13 9NR Security Clearance SC as a minimum is required in order to work on the DaaP(B) Programme. Additional T&Cs Skills & Experience Experience of managing project plans, tracking and report progress using MS Project (/ideally MS EPM) 20% Understanding of the management of plans and schedules at different hierarchical levels through consolidation or using Integrated Master Schedules 10% Experience in performing schedule risk and impact analysis with a detailed understanding of critical path analysis, schedule integrity and progress reporting 10% Understanding of planning for technically complex large-scale IT projects and programmes 10% Must have detailed understanding of standard project management principles and techniques (e.g. APM, MSP, Prince2, PMI). 5% Understand dependency linking (int & ext dependencies) 5% Recent and relevant experience in the defence sector 5% Experience of applying Risk Management methods and principles 5% Provide coaching to the project teams to enable them to work more effectively and with minimum direct planner support, hence improving overall efficiency 5% Ability to make informed decisions using Management Information (MI) 5% Knowledge of Agile Project Delivery 5% Experience in developing and managing fully resourced schedules (including resource loading and levelling to actively manage workload and over or under allocations). 15% Nice to Haves No. of Specialists to Evaluate 3 Cultural Fit Criteria Transparent and collaborative when making decisions Have a flexible approach Understand and acknowledge that they will be performing tasks as part of a wider service being managed by ISS PMO Ability to integrate and work as part of a team Proactive rather than reactive Highly motivated Assessment Method Evaluation Weighting Technical competence 65% Cultural fit 5% Price 30% Questions from Suppliers Budget range the maximum paid (including agency fee's) will be £500 per day. there will be no room to increase this rate due to budget constraints.
