Tender description

The provision of direct access, telephonic advice and support helpline to respond to urgent healthcare concerns of patients. The service forms an essential and integral element of the local Urgent Care System across Brent, Hounslow, Harrow and Ealing. Clinical triage of patient requests for support is undertaken to inform the provision of immediate advice regarding the direction to access emergency, urgent and more routine health care services. Establishment of an interim contract for a period of 12 months (with the option to extend further by up to 6 months) to provide an effective bridge between existing healthcare provision and an intended new future model of service provision. The award of the interim arrangement will be made to the incumbent provider to ensure continuity of necessary service provision to local patients.
