The purpose of the contract is to provide a call-off framework for use by highway authorities within South West England. The service includes provision and analysis of manual and automatic traffic data collection surveys and will operate for an initial period of 2 years with options for 2, 1-year extensions. The framework will be used by highway authorities in the South West region of England who are party to the collaborative agreement for this. The quantity of service required through this procurement is unknown at this time and is dependent upon the budget available to individual authorities.
