Tender description

The Council hereby gives notice to the market that it intends to undertake the following procurement process in order to establish a contract for Highway Asset Management Consultancy Services in order to further develop and enhance the highway asset management framework for all Welsh Local Authorities and Local Government. Prospective tenderers are advised to refer to information note attached to this PIN which provides additional information on the background to the project requirements. The purpose of this procurement process is to provide the 22 Local Authorities in Wales including for Welsh Government on behalf of the County Surveyors Society Wales (CSSW), with the necessary professional services in connection with Highway Asset Management Planning. The Local Authorities including for Welsh Government are seeking Consultants that have the necessary experience and expertise in the development of highway asset management planning and processes. Further information on the core aims and objectives of the project are outlined within the attached information note. It is anticipated that contracted services will commence from the 1.2.2018 for an initial period of 3 years (with an option to extend for a further period of up to 2 years at 12 monthly intervals).
