Tender description

The Council is procuring a range of accredited training courses to support local adult residents improve their employability and gain employment. Local residents benefiting from the training courses are referred to as 'learners' in the pages below. The learning will be aimed at those who are unemployed or economically inactive and whose prior attainment is below a full Level 2 qualification in order to progress them into further learning, or at the very least, to be closer to the labour market. The delivery of the contract will commence on 3rd April 2017 and courses will be completed by 31st July 2017. The terms of the contract will continue to apply until 31st October 2017 to enable outstanding outcomes and other data or compliance requirements to be fulfilled. This may include, for example, providing contact details for destination tracking purposes, providing any required data which is outstanding or learner achievement details.
