Waste and Recyclables Collection and Street Cleaning

Tender description

The Contract is for the provision of a service for the collection, delivery/reception where required, of contract waste including all kerbside collected materials, bulky household waste and management of bring banks, garden waste and commercial waste. The service will also include street cleaning which consists of the daily (seven days) cleaning of streets, roads, public areas, emptying/cleaning of litter/dog bins all as specified and also mechanical sweeping of carriageways within the geographical boundary of Melton Borough Council and associated activities. This is a 365 (366 in a leap year) day per year contract. Please note that the actual term of this contract is likely to be 10 years plus a possible extension period of 10 years.
