Summary of the work Scan4Safety is a pioneering programme driving the adoption of GS1/PEPPOL standards in the NHS. The programme provides, in a series of waves over 5 years, funding, support and coordination for all acute and specialist hospital NHS Trusts to implement a set of defined use cases, supported by the GS1/PEPPOL standards. Specialist role Programme manager Expected Contract Length 220 working days to be worked over a year (possibility of extension as needed to complete work) Latest start date To be discussed Maximum Day Rate £575 Who Speclialist Work With 7 person team based out of Skipton House. Steven Graham is the team lead What Specialists Work On Lead the establishment of a framework agreement to support Master Data Exchange • Establish a Demonstration of Technology for Master Data Exchange • Set up, manage and maintain a technology provider workspace on DH eXchange • Develop and agree business cases that support the technology requirements of Scan4Safety • Develop and deliver technology provider engagement implementation plan • Lead technology-related aspects of Scan4Safety conferences and events • Support relationship with OpenPEPPOL and lead the NHS PEPPOL Authority on behalf of DH • Lead the relationship with external outsourced provider of PEPPOL Authority technical support services Skills & Experience • Working knowledge of NHS trusts • Transformation experience • IT background (IT director or similar, systems, processes and IT strategies) Nice to Haves • Gravitas (able to work with directors in trusts and senior civil servants) • Government experience • OBC business case experience Work Location Skipton House 80 London Road SE1 6LH Working Arrangments Office based at Skipton House but agile working essential from home or around the country.regular visit's to trusts around the country as well as events Security Clearance BPSS with Disclosure Scotland No. of Specialists to Evaluate 10 Cultural Fit Criteria • Work as a team with our organisation and other suppliers • Can work with clients with low technical expertise • Fit well into an established team Evaluation Weighting Technical competence 65% Cultural fit 15% Price 20% Questions from Suppliers 1. The business will complete the HMRC tool and this will be validated by senior civil servants on the programme 3. What technologies will the consultant work on or should have experience with , please give details Working with GS1 and PEPPOL. E-Procurement NHS systems, EDI, ERP solutions 4. Can any other security clearance such as CTC, SC or DV be considered for this role Any clearance higher than Disclosure Scotland will be accepted as long as it is recent (within 1 year) 5. Is occasional remote working allowed? Yes - to be arranged with work stream lead 6. What are the other expenses which will be paid Travel to sites, hotels and food within standard DH T&C's 7.
