Tender description

As a result of the sale of the Municipal Building, one of the two data centres has to be relocated to the Cunard Building and as such additional fibre cabling needs to be run throughout the city. This piece of work is a pre-requisite for the pulling of fibre and is limited to the rodding and roping of a number of routes detailed below and the identification of any blockages along these routes to enable a full tender to be produced. The routes in question are Cunard Building (L3 1DS) to Premier Court (L3 2AA) route 1 comprising Water Street -> The Strand -> Georges Dock Gates -> Chapel Street - Tithebarn Street - Hatton Garden Cunard Building (L3 1DS) to Premier Court (L3 2AA) route 2 comprising Brunswick Street -> The Strand -> James Street -> Lord Street -> Whitechapel -> Stanley Street - Victoria Street - Crosshall Street -> Dale Street -> Hatton Garden Venture Place ( Sir Thomas Street) to Municipal Building (Crosshall Street) comprising Sir Thomas Street -> Victoria Street - Crosshall Street Central Library (William Brown Street) - Municipal Building (Crosshall Street) comprising Cuerden Street -> Byrom Street -> Victoria Street -> Crosshall Street. Ropes are to be left in place between chambers to facilitate future cable pulls and any blockages along the routes are to be clearly identified on a map. Keywords: rodding , Fibre , roping , cable
