Tender description

Crown Commercial Service wishes to establish a pan government Framework Agreement for use by UK public sector bodies which include Central Government Departments and their Arm's Length Bodies and Agencies, Non Departmental Public Bodies, NHS bodies and Local Authorities. This agreement is predominantly aimed at the Education Sector (including schools, academies, Multi Academy Trusts, free schools and local authority maintained schools). The above Contracting Authorities have a need for temporary or fixed term Supply Teachers. The Framework Agreement aims to bring together a comprehensive range of suppliers providing a mix of national and local coverage. All relevant teaching and non-teaching roles are included within the scope of this agreement, from unqualified teachers, cover supervisors and Teaching Assistants, Teachers, up to Headteacher and Leadership Group roles. It is anticipated that the Services to be covered by this Procurement will be sub-divided into 2 Lots, namely: Lot 1: Direct provision of Supply Teachers During this pre-OJEU process we will review whether the requirements under Lot 1 are delivered on a national basis, or a regional approach is taken. Lot 2: Managed Service requirements As part of the pre-OJEU market activities we will be reviewing this 2-Lot approach, and also considering whether a third Lot covering Direct sourcing via technology applications is required.
