Tender description
This tender is to establish a framework agreement for the supply of Venous Thrombosis Embolism (VTE) prevention consumables and related services. The framework will provide a comprehensive range of products which have been split between 4 Lots. The duration of the framework will be 4 years maximum (3 years initial period with the option of extending for 1 period of 12 months). The product offering in Lot 1: Intermittent Pneumatic Compression (IPC) Framework Agreement with Access Pricing via Direct Award will include; Intermittent Pneumatic Compression (IPC) pumps suitable to use in an Acute setting; A range of IPC garments available in various sizes; and Maintenance, training and clinical/technical support. The product offering in Lot 2 Framework agreement with access pricing via direct award will include: Anti Embolism Stockings (AES) available in a range of sizes and training and clinical support. Lot 3 IPC GPO (Open) Committed Exercise. Lot 4 AES GPO (Open) Committed Exercise. The objective of Lot 1 is to provide a a multi supplier framework agreement for the supply of Intermittent Pneumatic Compression (IPC) pumps and garments suitable for use in an acute setting. The IPC garment must deliver intermittent circumferential compression to the patient's leg in order to reduce the risk of VTE by preventing venous stasis. A range of garments including calf, thigh and foot are required in various sizes. Each compression garment and associated consumables must be manufactured and packaged in line with single patient use guidelines. The scope of the framework will also include maintenance, training and clinical/technical support. [Terms and Conditions / Activity Based Income (ABI). The terms and conditions of this Framework Agreement and any resulting Call-Off contract is appended to the ITT. These terms include provisions requiring the payment by the supplier of an ABI management charge in consideration of the award of this framework agreement, the management and administration by HTE of the overall contract structure and associated documentation, as well as the requirement to submit regular management information to HTE. Submission of Expressions of Interest and Procurement Information. This exercise will be conducted on the HTE Bravo portal. Candidates wishing to be considered must register expressions of interest as follows: Register on the HTE portal at https://healthtrusteurope.bravosolution.co.uk. Each pair of stockings and consumables must be manufactured and packaged in line with single patient use guidelines. HTE will enter into a Framework Agreement for a period of 3 years and the Participating Authorities will enter into Call-Off Contracts with the Successful Tenderer for a period of 3 years. Additional Beneficiaries may enter a Call-Off Contract under the Framework Agreement during the first year of the Term of the Framework Agreement and in this case the Call-Off Contract will expire 3 years from the commencement of the Framework Agreement.
