Tender description

The purpose of this PIN is to notify the market of NHS Enfield CCG and Barnet CCG's intention to undertake a procurement to select a Lead Provider for each of the following 3 Lots: Lot 1: Lead Provider for Integrated MSK Programme (Enfield CCG and Barnet CCG) Lot 2: Lead Provider for Integrated Urology Programme (Enfield CCG and Barnet CCG) Lot 3: Lead Provider for Integrated Gynaecology Programme (Enfield CCG only) All 3 Lots require bidders to manage the delivery of the entire spectrum of services (delivering at least 25 % of the activity) including Primary Care Referral Triage and Education, Community and Out of Hospital Based Services and also Acute Hospital In—Patient Services. Ideally the Lead Provider will be able to deliver all three lots although alternative arrangements will be considered if a suitable Lead Provider for all three lots is not forthcoming. The aim of the MSK service is to enable a complete MSK programme of care from a single organisation that will not only provide MSK care itself, but also partner with existing and other providers into a programme of care for the Enfield and Barnet population. This system of care will cover the diagnosis, treatment and management of all diseases of the musculoskeletal system and connective tissue. Treatment conditions include but are not limited to: Upper limb, Hand, Hip and knee, Foot and ankle, Back, Rheumatology, Cognitive behavioural therapy, Chronic Pain, including new models of care (e.g. self and group support, CBT), Obesity or people with BMI greater than surgical acceptance limits re Osteoporosis assessment and management, Health promotion/prevention (e.g. falls, facilitating return to work), Management of care out of hospital e.g. DMARDS, 2 Week Waits, Urgent and emergency care. The aim of the Urology service is to provide a completely integrated model for all patients with Urology conditions. — 2 Week Waits, — Urgent and emergency care, — Routine inpatient and outpatient care, including but not limited to: — LUTS, — Renal Calculi, — Haematuria, — Testicular pain, — Foreskin problems, — Erectile dysfunction, — Raised PSA. The new services will include: Self-management and prevention, Symptom based pathways, Primary Care, including advice and guidance, education sessions, GPwSI's, virtual clinics and an electronic communications interface, Single point of access for all Urology and Gynaecology conditions including a clinical advice and navigation service and enhanced triage, Community services, Outpatient services, Pre-assessment, Surgery and inpatient care. The aim of the Gynaecology service is to provide a completely integrated model for all patients with Gynaecology conditions. The new service will cover all areas of the following, including but not limited to: Female UTIs, Haematuria, Menorrhagia, Irregular bleeding, Amenorrhoea/Oligomenorrhoea, PCOS, Lost Coil, Vulva symptoms, Subfertility, 2 Week Waits, Urgent and emergency care.
