Tender description

PETIC are committed to either purchasing or leasing an automated dose dispenser system. The system PETIC wishes to procure will allow for the receipt of a shielded vial of a positron emitting radio-pharmaceutical. The system will, under operator control, dispense the required radioactivity and volume of the radio-pharmaceutical and administer it to the patient via a remote delivery line. As part of a wider upgrade of equipment within the Cardiff Catalysis Institute (CCI), School of Chemistry, a Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) is required. Although the primary role of the SEM will be for analysis of catalytic materials relating to academic research in Cardiff University, the instrument will eventually be part of a wider microscopy suite which will service other research groups within Cardiff University, in particular the Compound Semiconductor Institute.
