South Ribble Borough Council is inviting tenders for the construction of a reinforced grass overflow parking area at Moss Side Playing Fields, Moss Side Way, Leyland. The works propose to provide additional parking space to the existing parking provision on site. The area to be surfaced is currently grassland at the western side of the playing field, south of Moss Side Way. The area to be reinforced is 2,092m2. A small amount of kerbing and installation of metal field gates is also included. Interested bidders should register their interest via the Chest at www.the-chest.org.uk in order to access the full specification and invitation to tender documentation. The deadline for expressions of interest is 5.00 pm on Monday 8th May.
