Durham County Council Contract for Regulation 44 Visits 1. To undertake monthly Regulation 44 Visits to 9 children's homes. 2. To undertake monthly Regulation 44 Visits to 4 secure homes and 1 secure education service (which will be visited in line with the service specification). 3. To produce a written report following each visit and to submit all reports in line with agreed timescales to DCC for submission to OFSTED and Corporate Parenting Panel. The purpose of the visit is to ensure that the day-to-day care provided by the local authority in its children's homes, secure homes and secure education service are of a satisfactory standard as required under Children's Homes Regulations (Regulation 44) which came into force on the 1 April 2015. ** ***************************************************** Please access www.nepo.org and access tender documents available for the Contract for Regulation 44 Visits.
