Tender description

Provision of Community Phlebotomy Services across Wirral. Accepting referrals from GP's to undertake blood tests for their registered patients. The CCG is offering a single contract to a single vendor who will be responsible for delivering all community based phlebotomy services and outcomes in return of the agreed financial payment, payable within the terms established as part of this tender process. The prime provider may sub-contract elements of the services to meet the requirements of the specification; however the prime provider is wholly responsible for the establishment of those sub-contracting arrangements and is liable for any payments throughout its supply chain. We envisage any prime provider bid would consult the GP community to ensure that services offered are fit for purpose, in delivering the needs of the service and being aligned to the needs of the patient.
