Tender description

The Merseyside OPCC is seeking to increase the capacity to deal with the demand for services, by investing in the development of local service providers. The OPCC recognises that the need for services vary across the boroughs of the region based upon local experience. The service will work with young people affected by exploitation at any level to help them cope and recover. The service will work with young people affected by exploitation at any level to help them cope and recover. Aims of the service split into 2 main areas of focus: — Prevention; — Coping. The service will provide in depth, long term therapeutic care and counselling, along with helping to identify suitable accommodation where necessary and help to manage pre and post court challenges in cases where it is required. The Service will need to be delivered to young people predominantly aged 12 to 18 years old, where there is evidence to suggest exploitation and where it is assessed that positive outcome will be achievable through this intervention.
