RBG requires a single supplier to provide the outlined stores service from the RBG site at The Birchmere Centre. The successful tenderer will be required to enter into a contracted out lease agreement. The Site for the Stores service is at Birchmere located in Thamesmead, its main customer is Asset Management and Repairs service who provide a property repair and maintenance service for Council residents as well as undertaking major capital works and void property works. Stocked materials are purchased from the stores and the stores supply chain includes a number of local businesses and SME. The Council purchases non stock items from a range of suppliers on an as needed basis. The site is provided rent, business rate, water rate and utility cost free accommodation. (Utility free only includes use of electricity and mains gas at no cost). Royal Borough Greenwich is looking for a single supplier to provide the outlined stores service from the RBG site at The Birchmere Centre. The successful tenderer will be required to enter into a contracted out lease agreement. The Contract is initially for a period of 4 years although RBG reserves the right to extend the Contract on the same terms and conditions for a further period of up to a further 4 years making a total possible Contract Period of 8 years, at an estimated value of 3,100,00.00 GBP PA.
