Benhall Mill Road - Site Investigation

Tender description

Tunbridge Wells Borough Council is inviting tenders for site investigation work at its Benhall Mill Road cemetery depot. The site contains storage buildings used as a depot for the cemetery and as a store for other lessees from time to time as granted by The Council. Site Area 0.52 Hectares The site is NOT consecrated , however there are records showing that 16 graves lie within the site . See layout in appendices. No site investigations will be permitted in the areas of the existing graves , or within a further 'buffer zone' of 10 m radius of these areas. Site Investigations will only be allowed with prior consent and attendance by the Council. Activities preceding site investigation will include clearance of surplus material and preparatory enabling works including asbestos removal in the existing stores.
