Tender description

Tenders are invited for the herbicide treatment of footpaths, central reservations/cross over areas, back lanes and hard surfaces including all cemeteries throughout the City of Sunderland. The estimated area to be treated is approximately 508 hectares, including 2 200 km of footpaths and 1 214 km of adopted public highways. Glyphosate treatment to the full area on up to three occasions commencing: — June / July. — September / October. — A third treatment nay be required dependant on weed growth. The figures of 508 hectares, 2 200 km of footpaths and 1 214 km of adopted public roads are an approximation. Bidders are responsible for verifying these figures as no adjustment to the figure quoted will be allowed following contract award in the event of any inaccuracies in these figures.
