Tender description
London Borough of Waltham Forest has committed to resettle a number of refugee families in the borough. This commitment has been made as part of the UK government’s ‘Syrian Vulnerable Persons (SVPs) Resettlement Scheme’. As part of this commitment, The Council wishes to ensure that there is sufficient support provided to the resettled families in order that they may live a good quality life in the borough. The Resettlement Service is designed to offer practical support to SVPs housed within the borough. They will be supported to manage their housing needs, access health services, learn English, look for jobs and integrate with the community.
