Tender description

Supported Accommodation for Young people in the care of the Local Authority including Care Leavers and Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Young People. All services commissioned by the Council will adopt the principle of positive engagement with providers. The service will contribute to the objectives and outcomes prioritised in the Children and Young Peoples Plan 2015 — 2017 focusing on: — Improved educational attainment; — Protecting vulnerable children and young people; — Early help and improving life chances; — Being healthy and positive. The requirement is for Lot 1 — Supported Accommodation, Lot 2 — Supported Lodgings — hostels, shared houses, training flats. Lot 3 — Mother and Baby Units. 1. Supported Lodgings — placement or block bookings — to be confirmed / crash pads, short stay or respite. 2. Supported Accommodation — placement or block bookings — to be confirmed / crash pads, short stay or respite. 3. Mother and Baby Accommodation. Establishment of a DPS Framework Agreement.
