The University of Sheffield tendered on behalf of the Department of Materials Science and Engineering for a Vacuum Induction Melting System. The procurement has now concluded and no further expressions of interest are being sought or can be accepted. We sought to purchase a Vacuum Induction Melting System to melt and cast a variety of reactive or non-reactive metals in a clean vacuum environment. Likely materials include titanium alloys, steels, nickel base superalloys.
