Tender description

3.1 The Joint Equipment Loans Service (JELS) currently provide equipment to clients who live in the county of Northumberland or who are registered with a Northumberland GP in order to help them maintain their independence in the community by continuing to live in their own homes. JELS is looking to appoint a supplier or suppliers to undertake the inspection and servicing, and call out repairs for electrical and mechanical beds and pneumatic pressure relieving home loans equipment. Inspection/servicing is required once per annum and must conform to the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 and include Portable Appliance Test (PAT) certification. The Tender is divided into two Lots for the above requirements: • Lot 1 Service and Repair Contract for Electrical and/or Mechanical Beds • Lot 2 Service and Repair Contract for Electrical and Pneumatic Pressure Relieving Home Loans Equipment.
