School catering services

Tender description

The successful tenderer will be required to provide catering services to the following EMLC Academy Trust schools: — Northampton International Academy. — Castle Academy. — Hardingstone Academy. The contract covers the scope for the provision of all catering and vending services within the Academies, which also includes all hospitality and free issue requirements. The duration of the contract being offered is three years commencing on 1.9.2016 and concluding on 31.8.2019. The contract being offered within this tender will be based on a guaranteed performance basis with all free issue requirements and hospitality being recharged on consumption at ‘net’ food cost only. EMLC Academy Trust was incorporated in July 2012 for the purpose of establishing, maintaining, managing and developing academies and free schools as world class centres of excellence. EMLC Academy Trust's vision is that every child deserves to be the best they can be. As part of this vision, EMLC Academy Trust aims to develop centres of excellence for leadership and teaching and learning and where pupils are safe and engaged in their learning. The Trust is driven by the moral purpose of making a significant difference in areas where failure has been ingrained and ambitions stunted. EMLC Academy Trust currently sponsors five primary academies and one secondary academy, with an all-through free school due to open in September 2016. By 2019, EMLC Academy Trust aims to be sponsoring between 12-15 open academies.
