Tender description

Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust provides integrated community health and mental health, including community hospitals and specialist learning disability services. Further information: www.dorsethealthcare.nhs.uk Following a successful pilot the Trust is looking to rationalise its Postal Services and to appoint a supplier responsible for the processing of the external mail Trust-wide through a network of collections, including direct from sites to a central point for processing and mailing. The current process is a mixture of use of stamps and franking. Various collection arrangements are in place and a significant amount of time is devoted to franking, resorting and administration. The number of items sent out by the Trust equate to around 1 500 000 units p.a. from approximately 100+ sites. The Trust would like to hear from prospective providers who can demonstrate that they have the appropriate expertise and capacity to provide postal services.
