North Reddish Park Pitch Improvement Work

Stockport Council is responsible for the provision of grass playing pitches throughout the borough. A proportion of commuted sum has been allocated towards North Reddish Park for improvements to the quantity and quality of the pitch offer on site. This project aims to improve the quality and quantity of grass football pitches in North Reddish Park. The site is located off Longford Road, Reddish, SK5 6JW. The Google Earth coordinates are 532645.71N 2930.91W. Currently there is one full size adult pitch located on the site and this project proposes to undertake re-levelling, re-draining and renovation of the grass area, re-orientation of the adult pitch and marking out of a new U15/16 Youth 11-a-side pitch. The work needs to be undertaken as the existing football season comes to an end and the works completed prior to the start of the autumn football season.
