Tender description

Specialist tobacco cessation service. The Council requires the services of an organisation or group of organisations to reduce the local prevalence of smoking and tobacco use. The primary focus of the new service will be to target the tobacco cessation activity for all local smokers with specialist support for the following who may have additional of complex needs; — Black and minority ethnic groups (BME). — Pregnant women. — Those living with mental health (MH) or severe (SMI) issues. — Those living with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). — Young people (17 and under). — Lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans people. — Residents with substance misuse issues including alcohol and illicit substances. This procurement is being carried out under the light-touch regime.
