Who Speclialist Work With You'll be the Principal Enterprise Architect and shape the technical design and implementation within a larger technical development team. You'll work with Technical Architects, Service Delivery Managers, Commercial and Product Managers. What Specialists Work On The Principal Enterprise Architect will 1. Architect design solutions and enhancements to existing, Infrastructure and application services, based on the prioritised business requirements and architectural principles. 2. Produce and review relevant technical design documentation to support the Infrastructure, application platforms and services. 3. Provide ad hoc support to troubleshoot problems with Infrastructure and Platforms within the live environment. 4. Write and develop policies and standards, and technically assure all Infrastructure Platforms. 5. Provide technical oversight for all designed and hosted applications and services. Where the Work Takes Place Milton Keynes and occasional travel to other UK locations Early Market Engagement Working Arrangements You'll work within a larger technical development team. There are regular face-to-face updates onsite. Work Location Milton Keynes and occasional travel to other UK locations Security Clearance Current valid DV (Developed Vetting) security clearance is essential for this role. Additional T&Cs Skills & Experience 10 years+ experience of technical oversight for government infrastructure, applications and services 10 years+ experience of authoring and critically reviewing relevant technical design documentation 10 years+ experience of troubleshooting problems with Infrastructure and Platforms within the live environment 10 years+ experience of authoring policies and standards, and technically assure solutions and/or services At least 5 years experience of designing, implementing and operating Government Cloud hosting platforms and solutions. At least 5 years expert knowledge and proven record of designing, building and delivering assured for Government use EUDs solutions based on Windows, Linux, Citrix and smartphones At least 5 years expert knowledge of licensing environments and solutions in particular Microsoft products 10 years+ experience of enterprise level infrastructure and technologies such as datacentres, WANs, virtualisation, SANs, networking and firewalls. At least 5 years experience and knowledge of architecting Microsoft collaborative platforms in on premise, hybrid and cloud deployments. Proven experience delivering solutions that align with the Protective Monitoring Controls (PMCs) defined within GPG13. Nice to Haves TOGAF accreditation. Previous experience working within secure government environments at OFFICIAL and SECRET. Previous knowledge and understanding of working within a DevOps environment. Have achieved qualifications and practical experience in ITIL and project management methodology. Formal training and experience working with VMware virtualisation.
