Eastern Region Foster Care Rolling Select List

Tender description

Providers are invited to participate in the Eastern Region Foster Care Rolling Select List. Collectively the annual spend across the four participating authorities for the provision of foster care with external providers is £32m per annum (based on figures for the last financial year). We are inviting providers to express an interest for inclusion on the Rolling Select Lists for the provision of foster care for children and young people (including parent and child placements) in the following four Eastern Region Authorities:- • Cambridgeshire County Council • Essex County Council • Suffolk County Council • Thurrock Council. The Rolling Select Lists in each participating council have been established from the 1st October 2013 (Essex County Council Rolling Select List commenced 21 November 2013). The Rolling Select Lists are for a period of up to 4 years to the 30th September 2017, with the option to extend the agreement for a further period of up to 15 months. New entrants will have the opportunity to join the Rolling Select List at the next review point 1st April 2017 when the provider tiers will be reviewed for the period from 1 April 2017 to 31 March 2018. This online process is being conducted to invite new entrants to the Rolling Select List and to review the tiering of Rolling Select List providers. No guarantee or representation shall be deemed to have been made by the participating Councils in respect of the total quantities or values of the Services to be ordered.
