Tender description
Hull City Council completed a District Heating Masterplan in 2016, with consultants, as a first step to developing a network for the City. The Council, as part of its low carbon ambition, wishes to move the work on to the next stage via this tender. This tender seeks a review of the Masterplan work, to ensure its robustness, and then to undertake a detailed technical feasibility study of the city centre and its phased development considering the various energy source options, income streams, scheme layouts, risks and financial viability and attractiveness under different funding scenarios. The Council's ambition is to develop the network, if feasible, out from the city centre, and over time, into residential and regeneration areas. The tender evaluation will be undertaken on the responses received to Work Packages 1-3. Keywords: Feasibility Study, District Heating, Energy Consultancy, Energy Conservation, Environment, Low Carbon
