Tender description

The University of Nottingham is inviting tenders for the provision of Occupational Health Services for Staff and Students to include but not limited to: Staff Occupational Health services — Pre-employment Screening, Management/HR referrals, Health Surveillance, Health at work and Research Passports etc. to ensure that employees are fit to carry out the requirements of their job, being cognisant of appropriate guidelines and legislation. Student Occupational Health Services — Screening and vaccinations etc. to ensure that students are fit to perform the requirements of study and practise, including clinical, relating to their specific course of study. The above services are to include Workplace Assessments (e.g. exposure to physical, chemical and biological agents), Ergonomic Assessment, and Emergency medical appointments. The service will require access to: An Occupational health Physician, who is a serving member or Fellow of the Faculty of Occupational Medicine, and able to meet the Health and Safety executive Criteria for appointed doctors, (when statutory medicals are indicated) and Nursing staff who must hold a registered professional qualification in Occupational health Nursing.
