Tender description

This project is part of the extensive refurbishment and remodelling of the School of Clinical Medicine, at the University of Cambridge. The completed project will provide office, meeting and training facilities for the staff and students of the School of Clinical Medicine and for outside users, such as the NHS. The project is located on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus, south of Trumpington Road, next to Addenbrooke's hospital. The guiding principle of the refurbishment works is the adoption of environmentally sustainable principles and the use of appropriate materials for the works in general. This project aims have two installation phases, the first commencing on 28.3.2017, ending before or on 30.4.2017 and the second phase to be started and completed during April or May 2017. The seminar rooms will be the first phase and eLearning will be the second. The latter is subject to change and we hope to confirm an installation date in January 2017. The project occupants include: — Medical Students, — Graduate Students, — Clinical School Staff, — NHS Staff, — NHS students. The expected occupancy number is in excess of 250 students and staff.
