Tender description
Durham County Council is currently considering a range of service options for an individual service user with a Learning Disability, challenging behaviour and other complex needs. The individual service user has been detained under the Mental Health Act in a hospital setting for several years, and is due to return to the community later this year as part of the Transformation of Care programme. We would envisage that services will be delivered in a specialist supported living or Residential Care environment, and the Council is keen to hear from any organisation that may be able to meet the needs of this individual, as outlined in the service and accommodation specifications.
