Tender description

Provision of complex needs support services that are related to the City of Edinburgh Council's Commissioning Plan for Prevention of Homelessness. Procurement of a visiting housing support service for people with complex / multiple needs who are homeless or at risk of homelessness or have recently experienced homelessness and have been excluded multiple times by services and therefore cannot have those needs met through a mainstream housing support service. Targeted outcomes: 1. To prevent people becoming homeless wherever possible; 2. To prevent people being homeless any longer than necessary; 3. People show improvement in their independent living skills. Procurement of a service to provide crisis outreach and a support hub for people who are rough sleeping / who are homeless / at risk of homelessness who may have multiple and complex needs. Targeted outcomes: 1. To prevent people being homeless any longer than necessary; 2. People can access appropriate and suitable accommodation that will provide for their immediate accommodation needs, but also help them with transition to settled accommodation; 3. People are supported to move into settled accommodation as soon as possible, spending no longer than necessary in temporary accommodation.
